satan loves to catch us when we are off-guard ... we get caught up in life and then Bam! (thank you Emeril!) he's got us just where he wants us to twist things around and confuse us. an opportunity seems too good to be true ... and it is. a trusted friend betrays a confidence. a door that was opened slams shut in our face. we look in the mirror and ask why? why me? why this? what did i do to deserve this? and then the question that is the killer of all our hopes and dreams ... the question that satan feeds us when he sees us hesitate ... the one that can change everything we see and think ...
what's wrong with me?
"Doubt and lies thrive in the dark. Bring them into the light of loving relationships ~ whether that happens through the bright flicker of a screen, on a phone call, or face-to-face with someone you trust over coffee.
"Often the lies we hear within our hearts are so familiar to us that we don't even recognize them.
"One of the most dangerous lies we can believe is that our emotions are inherently wrong or sinful.
"As long as we live in this fallen, broken world, we will hear lies that try to distract us from what's true. They may come from the world around us or from the emotions within us. Whatever the source, God wants to replace them with what our hearts really need to hear. ... Can you hear him whispering words of love to you today?"

here is the truth ... the answer to that question that breaks our hearts every time we say it or think it ...
there is nothing wrong with you
you are already amazing
you are loved
you are cherished
you are beautiful
you were created just as I imagined you
you have a purpose
you may not see it yet, but I do
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
