lake vermilion ...

while the lake is in Minnesota ... a photocopy of the picture below hangs in Michigan outside the office of one of my co-workers, Pamela, and it is fascinating to look at and consider the "mystre" of the messages  
she found it at a heritage site, and it seems that the state of Minnesota agrees that [Lake Vermilion] is a keeper.
it appears that the art was drawn on December 20, 1919 either by someone named Billie, or for someone named Billie
it took a little while, but we figured out that the red lettering coming from the man in the teepee reads "peace" in reverse
